“If you are struggling in your relationships, in the workplace, or suffering with anxiety, depression or addiction, I can help you navigate a path to emotional well-being. While the course of therapy depends on many variables, I am committed to working with care and a focussed intensity that can help reduce or alleviate your symptoms as efficiently as possible.”
Psychotherapist, Jeffrey Frank, LCSW is certified in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (IS-TDP) and offers treatment for addiction, anxiety, couples in conflict, depression, life transitions, LGBTQIA issues, loss and grief, self-esteem, substance abuse, and trauma.
Online Individual Therapy
After years of following a "we'll get there when we get there" approach, I've come to realize that effective therapy doesn't require an indefinite commitment of time and resources, and that most gains occur within the first few sessions. Frequency and duration don't correlate with good outcomes — a clear focus, purposeful intensity, and a shared commitment do.
This model isn't for everyone, which is why I offer an initial assessment at no charge to get a clear sense of what you're dealing with and what you're hoping to achieve. From there, we can determine together whether this approach is the right fit for you.
A typical course of treatment is six 50-minute sessions, spread over approximately three months, with a follow-up six months from the final session.
Online Couples, Pre-Marital, and Marriage Counseling
Instead of getting caught up in blaming and “who does what to whom”, our focus will be on getting to the root of the problem. In our first session, you will come away with new insights into the dynamics of your relationship.
